About-Christmas

2008 Christmas is already in less than 6 months.
Hang in there as I'm sure it will be a good one.

Christmas is a holiday on the Christian calendar, celebrating the
birth of Jesus. Among those using the Gregorian calendar, it is
observed on December 25. Eastern Orthodox Churches, celebrate on
December 25 on the Julian calendar, which currently is January 7 on
the Gregorian calendar. Both dates are merely traditional and neither
is thought to be the actual birthdate of Jesus.

Don't forget to be good boys and girls all year long
to have nice gifts next year ;). Who knows, maybe we'll see you around
for Camper’s Christmas. We're already 1/2 year to this one ;)

The word Christmas is derived from Middle English Christemasse and
from Old English Cristes mæsse. It is a contraction meaning
"Christ's mass". The name of the holiday is often shortened to Xmas
because Roman letter "X" resembles the Greek letter X(chi), an
	abbreviation for Christ.

Christmas is a wonderful time of the year! The youngs get crazy
and the older get younger. Everybody feels this little feeling around
holiday season. Seeing the first snow flakes falling, hearing the
Christmas songs while doing the Christmas shopping at the mall,
changing cell ringtone for a Christmas song, writing good wishes to
friends, calling family members to check on them and sending e-cards
	to your loved ones.

And that's not even mentionning the Christmas Tree. Are you the type
to have an artificial clean Christmas tree and taking it over and over
each year or are you more the kind to choose the more beautiful one in the
forest near your place? The one that will dry and put dirt all over the
place, but also the only one Christmas tree that will make your house
smells like Christmas when you come home at night. I remember my mom
putting the angel to the top, the ultimate Christmas decoration, it's
exactly at this moment that the Christmas season starts!

Do you celebrate Santa Claus, the North pole and Rudolf the Red Nosed
Reindeer, with this huge Christmas eve round where Santa goes around
the world in one single night to deliver gifts to all the kids. Are you
the kind to believe in the magic spirit of holiday season? Don't forget
to leave cookies and milk for Santa, he has to work hard on Christmas eve
so he needs energy to achieve his world wide joy tour.

About-Christmas team wishes you a very Merry Christmas :)
